				<description>After hearing all the Final round performances on 21 April at Cadogan Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Volodymyr Sirenko and Simon Wright, the Competition Jury have decided to give the major four prizes to the following finalists:

Andrey Baranov - First "Benjamin Britten Prize"
Deborah Nemtanu - Second Prize
Stephanie Jeong - Third Prize
Jaroslaw Nadrzycki - Fourth Prize

These and the special prizes will be officially announced at the Awards Ceremony at 6:30pm on 22 April at Goodenough College.</description></item> <item><title>Four finalists established</title>

				<description>The Jury of the Competition announced the results of the Second round. Four semi-finalists who passed to the Final round are (in order of playing):

Jaroslaw Nadrzycki, Deborah Nemtanu, Andrey Baranov and Stephanie Jeong.

Sergey Malov received Artistic Director's prize. Special prizes for the best performance of Britten's Reveille and the obligatory Second round piece - Stankovych's Poem - will be announced at the Gala Concert on Tuesday.

				<description>On Monday 14 April at 11am competitor Sergey Malov from Russia will open the Competition First round. He will be accompanied by pianist Stephen Gutman. 

The First round performances are held over two days at the Great Hall of Goodenough College. Entrance is free, everybody welcome to come and listen!

The First round results are announced on 15 April at 6:30pm.
